The BSA M20 500SV was one of the most popular and loyal motorcycles British Army, serving on every front during the Second World War. The M20 was originally rejected by the Army General Staff, due to excessive wear of the piston, to use less than 10,000 miles.

The redesign of the cylinder and the piston, secured in BSA - which at the time was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the UK and a major supplier of the army - the award of contracts and the M20 was produced for use in militaristic 126,000 copies.

The design and construction of lacked something technologically advanced, a special type of the era brought harsh criticism of poor performance and a short distance from the ground. However, M20 was loved as few motorcycles by the riders - soldiers at the front thanks to the reliability and ease of maintenance.

Several of these motorcycles reached Greece in the '40s, but few have survived until today.
